a strange thing appeared in our forecast this morning - snow! not a lot of it, but at least it's showing up all week. maybe more in time for my buddy's visit this weekend? we can only hope.

I just found your blog...very insightful! thanks for putting it up! I'm getting little nervous that the weather is not so good. I'm heading up first week of March and I'm totally crossing my fingers. The season looked like it started out wonderfully but now it's just lacking now huh???

We are headed out there for the kiddo's vacation in April, would be a real bummer if the snow decides to take a spring vacation or never shows up.
yes, the current conditions are pretty lame, although there is full coverage on groomers. for a lot of people that is fine. but we have been sorely lacking decent alpine conditions all season.
a LOT can change in a week or two out here, so i remain hopeful. every winter that i've lived here (this is #6) we have eventually received a good does of powder. you just can't count on timing though. hope you guys get lucky!
