joel's still waiting for the mountain to process his application for the retirement season's pass, so he had to use physical labour to get up there today. turned out to be a great day with sunny skies and at least some areas of nice alpine powder.
we couldn't take the crowd at harmony so we booted it out to flute, which didn't help joel's situation at all. always worth the extra effort though. found some nice lee loaded slopes and we managed to hit quite a bit of fresh powder overall.

actually, no. those were all taken with our old crappy camera. there's no definition in the shaded areas, and there are blown out colours around the sun. the new camera takes perfect shots.

Ah yeah! do you ever pack the dslr up on the hill?

i tried bringing it a couple of times, but it's heavy and large and requires it's own backpack. plus, i'm afraid of breaking it if i wipe out, so i end up riding like a pussy. the old digital is much better for quick shots and no worries.
