"variable" would be the term of the day. crazy wind scoured spots and soft wind loaded areas. decided against hiking flute due to the extreme winds which would have probably filled in the bootpack, and otherwise made for an unpleasant experience. instead managed to get two untracked lines down glacier bowl.
